Established in 2002, the Village Pool League (VPL) is a not-for-profit 8-ball league committed to promoting friendly competition and good sportsmanship. We play every Monday night from September to April at various bars located in the Church-Wellesley LGBT neighbourhood. Currently we are operating with ten teams playing out of Pegasus, Woody's and Just Desserts. Teams of five are made up of players at all skill levels. Players try to win their match (best two out of three) against an opponent randomly drawn from the opposing team.

We’ll do our best to pair you up with others around your skill level; we've had members who have played high school, university, college, professional and national level volleyball, and people who have never touched a volleyball before.  Most people are somewhere in between.
