Established in 2002, the Village Pool League (VPL) is a not-for-profit 8-ball league committed to promoting friendly competition and good sportsmanship. We play every Monday night from September to April at various bars located in the Church-Wellesley LGBT neighbourhood. Currently we are operating with ten teams playing out of Pegasus, Woody's and Just Desserts. Teams of five are made up of players at all skill levels. Players try to win their match (best two out of three) against an opponent randomly drawn from the opposing team. Rules are specific to the league and can be found on the website.
