The League consists of over 500 members, making it the largest LGBT single-sport organization in Canada. Approximately 250 members play in the recreational division while the remaining 250 members participate in the competitive division.
The TSVL uses high school gymnasiums in downtown Toronto, Riverdale, Leslieville and The Danforth for weekly league play. The League also hosts one-day tournaments for members, social events, and the annual Rise of the Spartans tournament — a two day competitive tournament.
