This weekend, TLGTA is hosting the Canadian Gay Open (CGO), the largest Canadian tennis tournament sanctioned by the Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance (GLTA) World Tour, an international organization.Â
I had the chance to catch up with the TLGTA organizers, volunteers and executives at the official CGO Draw Party at O’Grady’s.
What I learned
At all Summer Social Tennis events from May to September, the TLGTA reserves a court for beginners!Â
If you are looking to hit the ball, improve your technique, or meet new people with a similar interest, then recreational tennis is for you! This is a very casual event and you can show up and leave anytime.
They play at the Thorncliffe Park Tennis Club (TPTC) every Fridays from 7pm to 10pm.
What are you waiting for? #GetOutAndPlay
What is coming up for TLGTA

- Â Gay Day at the Rogers Cup on August 6th presented by Tennis Canada. OUTSPORT TORONTO will be sharing more information about this #exciting and #proud event!
