Hey Toronto! Interested in giving waterpolo a try with a bunch of fun and welcoming people?! Come to our 2015 Summer Open House!
WHEN: Sunday 5 July 2014, 5-7pm.
- try to arrive 15 minutes early to change and meet the coaches and the team on deck for an orientation and basic instruction!
WHERE: University of Toronto Athletic Centre - Varsity Pool
55 Harbord Street, Toronto.
- south-east corner of Harbord & Spadina
- use the side entrance on Spadina Avenue and come downstairs to the locker rooms.
WHO: Everyone!
- we're an LGBT team and everyone is welcome, regardless of sexual orientation.
- you should be comfortable swimming 25m in deep water (e.g. you can't touch the bottom of the pool, which is 2.3m deep in the shallow end, and 4.2m deep in the deep end)Â
WHAT: bring a bathing suit + towel + $5
- we recommend fitted competition style bathing suits (e.g. speedo, turbo, but not board shorts) for freedom of movement
- there are lockers in the changerooms, but you should bring your own lock
AFTERWARDS: join us for a drink!
The team will go out after practice for some drinks and socializing
